YOU DON’T BELONG HERE!

YOU DON’T BELONG HERE- 

For any man hearing those words, it sounds rejecting and disapproving. It looks as if that person is not part of the clique, no more part of the family. For the former loving, caring and comfortable family of a man to yell at him “You don’t belong here”, it is something to look into very well. We should ask, what is the cause of their sudden rejection? Beyond the fact that he could have provoked them to make such a statement, there must be something in it warranting that statement.

For every born again child of God who have come to the understanding of the Son of God as their personal Lord and Savior which is Jesus Christ. There must be a knowing that must accompany it that you are not of the world again. In the world, you were subjected to all kinds of passions and sins that hurt the soul drawing you to eternal perdition. Then, you understood the language of Lust perfectly and always do the biddings of the evil nature. You were controlled by the evil forces of darkness so that you can lose your eternity (Eph. 2:1-2). But now, you are not being controlled by those spirits that work in the Children of disobedience. You now belong to another world entirely. Haven’t you been seen your friends that will just begin to mock and tell you “Hey boy, you don’t belong here, you are not of us”. Of course, don’t be afraid that you can’t get along with them any longer, don’t be afraid that you can’t enjoy the way they used to enjoy because their enjoyment is only for a limited time. Have you forgotten what that Great Apostle of our calling, Jesus Christ, said, (perhaps if you have not even read him before I will help you with that?) He said, “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world (John 17:16)”. Apostle John the Beloved went further to buttress it saying “LOVE NOT THE WORLD, NEITHER THE THINGS THAT ARE IN THE WORLD. IF ANY MAN LOVE THE WORLD, THE LOVE OF THE FATHER IS NOT IN HIM (1 JOHN 2:15)”. That is captivating enough, which is to describe the whole summation of the persecution which you could be going through for now, but don’t worry keep knowing God and doing his will for in due season there is reward for it not only in heaven but on earth as well (Gal. 6:9). You don’t belong to their category, you are not of the world, though you are here, you are of different specie to them.

SO WHERE DO YOU BELONG? That is the question you would want to ask. Remember that when you acknowledged the Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life, you were told that Old things have passed away and they have become new. In fact, Second Corinthians Five verse Seventeen says, “therefore, If ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATURE: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. That is what you might not have realised that you are now in Christ, you are now a new creature, people of the world may not recognize you again for the mere fact that you don’t join them for their mid-night parties, prostitution spree, and shady dealings which you know they are bad. In the verdict of God over your life, you have never existed before, therefore, you are new, and everything that concerneth you is new. Come to think of it that a man died and the man was reborn into a baby with a new kind of thinking, innocence and love inside which that other man did not have. You have now been made anew through the death of Jesus Christ. IT’S A MYSTERY, after he finished the work of salvation on the cross, he translated us to where he is which is heaven on the Father’s throne. People have only preached the forgiveness of Sins but they have failed to also preach of the divine translation that happened from darkness into the light of His Presence making us anew. Colossians 1:13 says, “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath TRANSLATED US INTO THE KINGDOM OF HIS DEAR SON”. Now you have to know this that, carrying the consciousness of this new life is what you need. You came to Christ, you were translated into light and you don’t belong to this earth anymore. Your people in the world saw that and they were angry with you because darkness always wants to fight against light. May I tell you that, for the fact that they don’t recognize you again, you have a greater edge over them. They submit to you because, you have NEW WISDOM, NEW LIFE WHICH IS ETERNAL AND YOU ARE A KING BECAUSE CHRIST WILL MAKE YOU TO REIGN OVER SICKNESS, POVERTY AND ANYTHING, JUST NAME IT (Romans 5:17). You belong where God belongs, that is heaven, because he is your Father and you have his Life. Rise and take what belongs to you now in Jesus Name! SHALOM!
