Three
Mighty men of DESTINY
“Behind every destined
man are three Mighty Men of Destiny”
As
at 16 years of Age, he is already in charge of his Father’s company, the last
born in the family of eight. His other Brothers are tendering to their own
Businesses. One day, his successful brothers were summoned by The President of
the Country to the Presidential Villa. A
terrorist was threatening the country and the President is scared. For weeks,
they stayed with the who’s who in the world, in the Presidential Palace,
strategising on how to combat the terrorist and his threat. Being a long time
He heard from them, because very invited citizen were made to switch off their
phones for Intelligence and security reasons. Their Father also an Elder
Statesman, calls this young man to Check on his Brothers at the Villa sending with
him their best dishes also. When He got there, while loitering about,
eve-dropping on the subject of discussion among grouped people who litter the
Presidential Corridor, He was able to know why his brothers were summoned.
“I’ve
once been confronted with a situation like this” He thought to himself, “May be
the solution I applied can help them out” He concluded, as He strolled into the
security room, requesting to see Mr. President.
Sure, the Security details knew what was going on and so they bluntly
told him “Mr President is Unavailable” enquiring “Why gan do you want to see him?” “My father sent me to him” “who is
your father” “Chief....” Immediately he mentions the Name, every one became
alert as if a Senior Officer had entered the room. “You should have said that
earlier” they all chorus, Scampering, to arrange his meeting with Mr.
President. They Knew the Man mentioned is someone Mr. President holds in high
regard.
Knocking
then strolling into the Board room on the Permission of Mr. President, “What”
exclaimed his eldest brother on recognising him. “What are you doing here” his
elder brother ask, soon his other brothers cook up their faces expressing their
disapproval of his Presence. Ignoring them, yet visible shaken from their look
and outrage. “I’m Sorry to interrupt you sir” He mutters. “I guess this is a
matter of urgency” He continues “I was once faced with a situation like this
and if you don’t mind, Maybe I share with you the solution I applied which I
believe will solve this situation”. “Impossible!” shouts one of his Brothers, “How
can someone in a day say he can solve a challenge that the best brains in the
country have spent weeks trying to resolve...” He had barely finished his
statement when He sees Mr President frown, realizing his mistake He Utters “Am
Sorry your Excellency” and Grudgingly takes his seat” This young man goes on
into a tirade of critical analyses, only to bring up a solution that seems very
minute. “With more time ahead, convinced Mr President stands up saying to the
Unconvinced Board Members “I will give this Young Man’s theory, a practical”,
which he did and the country was able to capture the terrorist and his
followers. All over the world, He soon became the Most Influential person in
the world. If that was how he started, now imagine how he lived.
After
years of serving his country faithfully as the Best President his country ever
had, The then young man narrated earlier, DAVID was about to join his fathers,
and One of the secret of His Greatness was revealed. Apart from God, Prophet
Samuel in season two of his sermon particularly, the 28th episode
and 9th scene, reveals that there were THREE MIGHTY MEN OF DESTINY who worked behind the scenes of David. Pause! All through the story of his life they were hardly mentioned
but at the best time of David’s life they were revealed.
Have you been working behind the scene of
someone’s life, and you feel you are wasting your time?, Or Have you been involved
in a project only for the acknowledgement to go to someone else? I tell you
HOLD ON! Have you ever watched the behind-the-scenes of a thriller Movie? Dear,
I tell you, it is always more interesting that the movie itself, so also is LIFE.
If everyone were to be on screen, who will God use to direct the Movie
and who will watch it to appreciate it? SO! There is a place for everyone in
the production process of destiny.
One
day, The first of the Mighty Men, Josheb-Basshebeth a.k.a Adino just
wielded his sword at a time at the Philistines and 1,2,3,…,80,…500, till 800 of
them boarded DEATH Airways to GRAVEYARD Republic. O ma seun oh! Sosoliso again!
Another
day, the second of the Mighty men, Eleazar a.k.a Slender and David went to the
Capital of the Philistine, the contending WORLD POWER of those days. Instead of David fighting, He told him to move
aside and with his sword he fought all Kai!
He fought a LARGE army, for a LONG time at a stretch that it was written of him “He arose, and smote the
Philistines until his hand was weary, And His Hand Clave unto the Sword: and
the LORD wrought a great victory that day;” then osho-free
people like Niajarians “and the people returned after him only to
spoil”.
What about the Third man? O boy! this Guy, after every one did “eni ori yo Odi Ile” “Who’s head is saved,
straight Home”, stood among lentils. Lentil is a brown DRIED seed. Stepping
on them will be like stepping on thorns. It was written of him Shammah a.k.a Age that he “took his stand at the CENTER of the field, successfully defended it, and routed the
Philistines. Another great victory for GOD”
EVERYLIVING
PERSON is like David, with THREE MIGHTY
MEN OF DESTINY to help them fulfil God’s Purpose for their life. Hmmm! and a threefold cord is not quickly
broken.
In Ancient times, in an
Ancient Kingdom, The King, who was the Greatest Human Being on Earth as at that
time, dreamt and He forgot the dream. Yet he wanted someone to interpret the
Dream. By the way it was this King that Invented the Idea of SCHOOLING
especially a UNIVERSITY. He threatened
to close down the University of Universe,
Babylon and see to it that all the Lecturers and Undergraduates relocate to
their grave if no one told him the dream and interpreted it. However, there was
an undergraduate studying Foreign Language
as a Major and PalAdmin (Palace Administration)
as a minor. “Then Daniel went in, and
desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the
king the interpretation. Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing
known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:.” Hmmm! THREE MIGHTY MEN OF DESTINY.
What about the Man who is reputed to have remained to have topped the
list of The World’s Most INFLUENTIAL for the past Two thousand and
eleven years. At the Point of Fulfilling his destiny, which was at the point of
death, Out of Several Family members, Seventy Friends and Twelve disciples, just
three men PETER, JAMES and JOHN were
with him and they were the same Men that started his destiny with him. Hmmmm! THREE MIGHTY MEN OF DESTINY
How do I discover these THREE MIGHTY MEN OF DESTINY you ask? Honestly! I
don’t know how but I know WHO CAN. I have only discovered one of my THREE MIGHTY MEN OF DESTINY. Were you to
ask me how I met him? I can’t explain other than to say it’s the Hand Of GOD. No Man can tell you HOW. Why? Destiny is not a
special elective of LIFE, that’s why God does not give out his lecture notes.
Let me share with you what I did, I entered a HOUSE. I was not the only one that entered this house, several
people did. But when I went through the DOOR,
they went through the WINDOW. An illegitimate
approach invalidates a legitimate request. May be that’s why you are yet to
meet your THREE MIGHTY MEN OF DESTINY
and if you are just knowing about this, Please save yourself time and energy by
going through the DOOR not the window.
You may know the door, but I ask, have you made use of it? If you don’t know,
that HOUSE is GOD and the DOOR is someone you know. Oh! I’ve heard
enough of him you say. If I may enquire,
have you experienced enough of him or you
think your Life does not worth your THREE MIGHTY MEN OF DESTINY?
The Three
mighty men of destiny, are made by God
and discovered by the hand of God(WISODM), not hand of Maradona, (COMMONSENSE)

WATER FALL!
“He that watereth
shall be watered also himself.”
“Tunji” “Sir”, “come help me get panadol”, “Daddy,
today is Sunday and The chemist doesn’t open shop”, “just try his place but
please try to get me panadol,” “Okay Sir, “Thank you”. True to his word, the Chemist shop was
locked.
Loitering
at the roundabout, Tunde is confused as to where to turn to. Every way looks
alike, but he’s sure that only one leads to his destination, and today being
Sunday, few people were out on the street. Any one he tries to approach seems
to be on the rush, “At last” he sighs, “let me ask this brother”.
“Good
Afternoon Sir” “Good Afternoon” “please am looking for this street,” shows him
the piece of paper, “I was directed to this round about and told to ask for
direction”
“Hmm! The street is
located along this road, but in a corner” “Where this man is going is nearby
but he is likely to miss his way, and Daddy needs this panadol” Tunde thinks.
“Okay” “Let me take you there”. Within
minutes but after making several turns, they get there. “Brother, Thank you very
much, I’m very Grateful” Tunde appreciates profusely, “You are welcome and we
thank God”.
Setting
back home, just after a few strides, a man was just opening his shop. When Tunde
will look, Lo! It was a chemist, branching; He buys the panadol and Heads Home.
You can’t push someone to the Junction
of Success without you getting there also.
You are like Tunde and Tunji, sent from Home, to get something from
somewhere. As you know this adage “Life is a Market place, we are all traders
and Buyers”. Take Tunji’s case as an example; had he not taken Tunde to his
destination, he won’t himself have gotten what he needed. And Had Tunde not
approached Tunji; he will still be loitering at the round about. Are you
loitering at the Round-about of Destiny, Are you sweeping the street with your
feet, gathering dust, looking for an essential part of your life? The Next
person who needs your help is the first answer to your dilemma. Because it is a
FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLE of LIFE that “what you do to others, so shall it be done
unto you”. Unfortunately, we think they are running out of time, helping
someone find his way, before locating their direction, They Never know that it’s
not time they are wasting but DESTINY. Your Destiny walks on two legs, but these
two legs are not yours, someone owns the other leg, and so are you Limping or Walking?
My favorite
writer Charles Spurgeon has this to say about watering….
“We are here taught the great lesson, that to get, we
must give; that to accumulate, we must scatter; that to make ourselves happy,
we must make others happy; and that in order to become spiritually vigorous, we
must seek the spiritual good of others.
In watering others, we are ourselves watered. How? Our
efforts to be useful bring out our powers for usefulness. We have latent
talents and dormant faculties, which are brought to light by exercise. Our
strength for labor is hidden even from ourselves, until we venture forth to
fight the Lord’s battles, or to climb the mountains of difficulty. We do not
know what tender sympathies we possess until we try to dry the widow’s tears,
and soothe the orphan’s grief. We often find in attempting to teach others,
that we gain instruction for ourselves.
Oh, what gracious lessons some of us have learned at
sick beds! We went to teach the Scriptures, we came away blushing that we knew
so little of them. In our converse with poor saints, we are taught the way of
God more perfectly for ourselves and get a deeper insight into divine truth. So
that watering others makes us humble. We discover how much grace there is where
we had not looked for it; and how much the poor saint may outstrip us in
knowledge. Our own comfort is also increased by our working for others. We Endeavour
to cheer them, and the consolation gladdens our own heart. Like the two men in
the snow; one chafed the other’s limbs to keep him from dying, and in so doing
kept his own blood in circulation, and saved his own life.
The poor widow of Sarepta gave from her scanty store a
supply for the prophet’s wants, and from that day she never again knew what
want was. Give then, and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed
down, and running over.
Wow! He
has said much! The concern is will you practice much of it? In our society of today?
There are BOTTLED humans. They never overflow, they never underflow, the level
they are constant K. They Prefer to remain the way they are, keeping the money
they have, holding the love in their heart not because they are wicked, but because
they like us fear, they will never get enough. A closed fist, Dear, is a Closed Heaven.
While, there
are some, that are walking CUPS, always open and always overflowing. They do overflow,
not because more was added to the level they were, but because their empty cup
was filled more than before. Their overflowing is not seen as a waste, because
they are overflowing to fill some other cups.
Do you
notice a river? What does it do? Always flowing! The Moment a river stops
flowing, it becomes stagnant and plays host to several negative element. Such is
life, it is the bank and we are the river.
People
have the Money, yet it serves no useful purpose in their life, not to say of
the lives of those around them. One of the most attractive tourist sites that
generates great revenues of r countries are WATERFALLS.
It’s
not the mountain that host them, which makes them a tourist site, neither is it
the history of the Village, they are located, but as the name implies
overflowing, ever falling water. Erin
Ijesha Can bear me witness. Right from the gate, the voice of the waterfall
is irresistible, though you may not have seen or been to the waterfall, yet a
feeling is aroused from your inside that something great awaits you. Dear, life
is no other than that.
The constancy
of how nature someone destiny, determines the irresistibility of your destiny
to it’s nurturers. You wonder why some people who are not facially blessed;
have the best brains and beauty of the class as good friends. It’s not because
they toasted those girls with words or gifts, neither is it because they
the-girls are promiscuous themselves, but they simply gave out Love with no
string attached. Which you possibly can’t.
Every
day, the list of your wanted items rises and your spirit sinks, yet whose need
have you met? Have you helped to decrease the items on someone’s list? You claim you don’t have true friends? No one
loves you genuinely? But have you been a true friend to those around you? Do
you love someone genuinely as you claim? Worst of all, you claim not to understand
when you read, yet what you even know, someone does not understand? Have you found
someone to teach what you know?
Providence
says, “He that has, even the little he has shall be taken away from him, and he
that has much, even more shall be given unto him”. This statement made me
understand why the poorer gets poorer and the Rich gets richer. Simply because
the Rich use what they have to help others get their need first, while the poor
use what they have they obtain their needs. Now who will be blessed first and
most?
“Every point in life
lands you in the middle, someone is ahead of you, someone is behind you, and
you are the sum total of the actions of who’s ahead of you(MENTORS) and who’s
behind you (MENTORED), divided by who is above you. (GOD)”
“Everyone
is a Garden, and are watered by others, who are either Water Falls or Water
Sprinklers, depending on how we water others

…Nurturing a Leadership Spirit…
A Wealthy Man adopted a Son, thus
the son became wealthy. One Faithful day, the Son went out to the street, and a
man met him. By his fruits, the Man knew he was wealthy; He became friends with
the Son, soon strikes a profitable deal with the son. Unknown to the Son, the
deal was a shady one, and he ended up losing all his wealth. The Father knew
about this, and was compassionate. He did not give the son another wealth, but
gave him an assignment, to make him wealthy.
That Wealthy man is God, The man who defrauded the Son, is the Devil,,
and the Son is YOU. What then is the assignment, given to you? LEADERSHIP!
Someone said,” The Ladder of Life is made of People”. Someone stepped on
your head to be where they are, likewise, you stepped on people to be where you
are. The question is not who are we stepped on or who we are currently stepping
on, but how you step on, which is
LEADERSHIP!
“Creation makes you a speaking spirit, but salvation makes you a LEADING
SPIRIT. Time is the only limit to your development”.
Ways to develop of nurture the
spirit of LEADERSHIP…

Accept Responsibilities: Responsibilities are the tools by which you
engage your abilities. The More you accept responsibilities, the more you
harness your abilities, and the more the Leader in you is developed. Leadership
is using your ability to solve other people’s disability.
·
Never Do Less That You Can Or Only What You Can:
Failure do less than they Can, Average people
do only what they can, and Leaders do more than they can. A leader is a
Extra-ordinary, by the Virtue of putting in Extra-efforts where others have put
in Ordinary efforts. Note: A leader
is not a chicken or a bird but an. EAGLE. Chickens and Birds’ strength lies in
their quantity so they flock, but Eagles strength lies in their quality so they
soar and gather. *Politics is about keeping people happy, but leadership is
about keeping people fulfilled even against their wish.

Learn To Bury Issues: An Unburied or ill-buried issue of yesterday
is a ghost in the future. A leader does not look at what he has lost, but what
he has left.
·
Take Mentoring Serious: A leader realizes that the reason why some people were born earlier is to be a
fore-runner, MENTORS! And he discovers Mentors, not make Mentors. A mentor is
not to celebrate you, but to correct you. A mentor has a Fathering spirit not a
flattering spirit. What a Leader looks for in a Mentor is “What he is that I am
Not”

Spend your time solving problems: You
become your work not your job. You spend time on your work and spend skills on
your Job, so you can retire from your Job but cannot retire from your work,
because your time is your life. Be a Problem-Solver, a Solution Provider. God
saw Problems on earth, that’s why he created you, Inventors solve the Problem
they were created for, what are you doing about your Purpose-Problems?

Accept Challenges and Assignment cheerfully: The rewards that come with the challenges we
solve come according to our cheerfulness and willing heart. An assignment may
not be comfortable, but it is necessary. And what may be Necessary may not be
comfortable. But a Leader does the necessary not the comfortable, by this he
becomes a necessity in people’s life and A comfort to his own life.

Discipline yourself to THINK: Learn to think PROACTIVELY, anticipating where
a problem may arise; Learn to think CREATIVELY, seeing things in a unique but
acceptable way, learn to Think WIDELY and learn to think THROUGH and THROUGH. A
Leader thinks so as not stink!
·
Utilize all your strength: A boy was trying to carry a big load,
exerting all his muscles; he was as unable to do so. Turning to his father! He
said “I can’t” “Because you have not used all your strength” The father said.
“Dad I have” said the boy” “But You have not asked me” the Father replied. A
leader trains himself, to look into people’s life to discover what he lacks.

Never cover ignorance with assumption: Assumption is the lowest form of Knowledge. A
leader never assumes he knows something. If you don’t know, you don’t know and
ask to know. It is not an offence to ask for an explanation, but it is an
offence to give an explanation for what you don’t know. People trust you for
being honest about your ignorance, than being ignorant of the honesty of what
you know.

Learn to relate Well: In as much as evil communication corrupts good
manner, good communication conceives great manners. If as a leader you don’t
relate well with people, you will just be taking a stroll.
·
Always operate from VISION: For every action you take, or any decision you
make, let it be from VISION. You must SEE, before you move or you will be
thrown at SEA where you are likely to sink. The best vision is God’s vision,
because as Humans we cannot see beyond our nose. Seeing from the Top, puts you
On top, and to able to see from the top is to see from God’s Point of View.

Always ask WHY DO I WANT TO DO THIS?: In the Market, a Leader asks why do I want to
buy this?, Ina gathering, he questions WHY DO I WANT TO SAY THIS?. A leader
doesn’t act spontaneously, just like God, who acts deliberately. He doesn’t
make decisions on the spot, or else he won’t leave that spot. He doesn’t give
birth to what he is not ready to nurture.
·
Leaders are learners: Readers are Leaders is the famous maxim, but
the reason leaders read is to learn. So to be a reader, you must see yourself
as learner. A leader is jack of HOW in one trade but master of WHAT in all. We
need to learn to learn. You learn to drive, by driving, you learn to write by writing;
you learn to speak by speaking, so you learn to read, by reading. Those who
refuse to be learners today, become leaners tomorrow. Learners of the present
are lenders of the future.

TAKE CONTROL: A leader is not a NYLON, whose output is shaped
by the condition of his inside. He controls his mood, so he is a BOTTLE that
shapes whatever goes on in him.
Above and beyond, A WISE OPERATES
BY WISDOM NOT COMMONSENSE. Common sense they say is not common, I agree,
but it’s not exceptional. A leader works by this Principle of Life: WHATEVER IS FROM ABOVE IS ABOVE ALL. Knowing
that COMMONSENSE is the wisdom of man; he operates by the wisdom of God, which
is from above, to be above everyone. He realizes that as high as the heaven is
to the earth so is the wisdom of God to that of man. In fact, He does not
forget that the wisdom of man is not up to the foolishness of God and God uses
the foolish things of this world to confound the wisdom of men. He is well
informed that Common sense will only produce a common man, but in another dimension,
but The Wisdom from Above will produce an Uncommon Man in an uncommon
dimension.
“WISDOM is the Principal thing” in Leadership. If any man lacks wisdom, let
him ask God who is able to give him without measure. However, there’s a
problem, how to ask from God? There is a way, a truth and the Life, without
him, no one can come unto the Father. There’s just one Name you ask the father
WHATEVER you want and you receive. The Door, to the House-GOD.
LEADERS ARE
BORN, but GREAT LEADERS ARE MADE!

…A Taxi Driver on his Destiny!
In
a remote part of a City, was a Village. There occurred outbreak, a devastating
one. It was beyond the control of the Native and orthodox doctors for a long
period of affliction. However, Thanks to a United Nations Aid, A cure was found
to combat the disease, but a lot of water had passed under the bridge.
Following the death toll, a mass burial
was necessary. The Oba convened his council;
a day was set aside as Remembrance Day and the young age group of the community
were assigned to dig a mass burial grave yard.
A day before the proposed burial, two
drunkards went to town, and stayed late in the night. Coming back to the
village, unknown to the first drunkard, he was towing the path of the Mass
grave yard, and soon he fell into it. The moon now out, casting a shadow on the
grave, thus, leaving a part of the grave with light while the rest, where the
first drunkard was already fast asleep in his drunken state was dark.
The Second drunkard after 30 minutes
came along, and like the first drunkard, he also fell into the grave. Immediately
he fell, the sense of being in a grave
jolted him back to normalcy. He began frantic efforts of jumping and
climbing to get out. His desperate movements woke up the asleep first drunkard.
“Make this bros no disturb my sleep oh” the first drunkard thought to himself,
still drunk, he walks to the second drunkard, who is oblivious of anyone in the
grave yard, and to get his attention, gave him a tap from behind. Immediately,
the second drunkard jumped out of the deep grave yard. He thought it a ghost
had touched him.
What do you recognize here? Passion? But
there’s more to this story than you’ve read. Perhaps, let me tell you
concluding part. The First Drunkard became a Doctor, the first in the village
and the second became a wealthy Casket Maker, the Best in the city and both
fulfilled their destiny in life. Are you getting something already? Okay! Let
me drop it, here is Passion, the passion not to die made the second drunkard
jump out of the grave that the diggers themselves used ladder to get out. It’ a
lie you say, but put yourself in his shoes. Don’t let us dilly-dally, that’s
the Power of Passion. Ask the first Class graduate in Zoology, while others
were bemoaning their woes of not being admitted to Medicine, he took fate as it
was, changed it to faith and with passion became ten times better. “See thou a
Man passionate in his works....See thou a Man diligent in his work....”
Purpose, Destiny, I’m very sure these
words are not JJC to your vocabularies, likewise, but do you know your Purpose, Are you fulfilling your Destiny?
These two drunkards in narration were men who the society regarded as dead
destinies gathering dust on the street, Purposeless Beings with no present talk
less of tomorrow, but in that Grave Yard, their Dead sense of Purpose and
Destiny came alive.
How did it occur? The Drunkard that
became a Doctor, on getting home, sat down. For the first time, he thought
deeply about his life and life in general. (Do you think deeply as an
activity?) What was striking his mind? the corpses that will feed the ants in
that grave. He felt how it was to be in buried, and resolved to be a Medical
Doctor to stem the occurrence of outbreaks not only in his community but in the
Nation. What he feared! Was the pointer to his Purpose. What do you Fear? WHAT GRIEVES YOU
The other drunkard, also on getting
home, sat down and thought deeply, He thought about his life and Life in
general. What however struck him, was the fact that the dead bodies will be
buried without being in coffins, remembering how the sand felt on his body, he
resolved that anyone who dies in the village will be buried in a coffin even if
they can’t afford it and the Human body will be honoured by an adorable casket.
What he hated! was a pointer to his Purpose. What do you Hate? WHAT ANGERS YOU?
In Ancient times, Israel reigned as the
WORLD POWER, during the reign of a King named Saul, there arose a terrorist.
This terrorist was a descendant of the Anak generation. In the beginning of
life, “When people
had spread all over the world, and daughters were being born, some of the
heavenly beings saw that these young women were beautiful, so they took the
ones they liked” the children born from this unholy sex were the Anaks (Giants). “Then the LORD said, "I will not allow people to live forever; they
are mortal. From now on they will live no longer than 120 years." This terrorist terrified the
whole Israel that the King was scared. A boy was in the bush, tendering to his
father’s sheep, when a lion came to steal a lamb, he smote it, likewise a fox
and every other wild beast, he soon became “George
of the Jungle”.
One faithful day, On his father’s
errands to his brothers on the Battle field, He got wind of the State of
Emergency. The boy of 16 years approached the King and said "Long live the
King, don't give up hope. I'm ready to go and fight this Philistine." Saul answered David, "You can't go and
fight this Philistine. You're too young and inexperienced--and he's been at this
fighting business since before you were born." David said, "I've been
a shepherd, tending sheep for my father. Whenever a lion or bear came and took
a lamb from the flock, I'd go after it, knock it down, and rescue the lamb. If

...Tarrying to Start Well...
“The
Deeper the root, the Higher the Branches”
Koala, is a common name for arboreal marsupial
animal that somewhat resembles the toy teddy bear in appearance, and a sloth in
habits. The koala reaches a maximum length of about 76 cm (2.5 ft) and has a
maximum lifespan of about 20 years. It has a large, round head with large, round,
furry ears and a stout body covered with thick ash-grey fur as you can see at
the top left corner.
It has a
vestigial tail. Its legs are short; its feet are large, and each has five toes,
two of which are opposable to the other three. Each toe has a strong claw.
Many thing strikes me about this lovely creature, the
female bears one young at a time. The young koala is then kept in the marsupial
pouch for about six months, after which time the female carries it on her back
until it is half grown. They sleep curled up on the branches of trees, firmly
grasping the branches with their feet. And this one strikes me the most: The
animal does not relax its hold even when it is mortally wounded by gunfire.

Court.
There’s this story about the World’s Oldest Strongest
Man. At his death, his epitaph red: “As
an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his
natural force abated.” .
Think of the Best education in the World, he had it.
The Best Upbringing, He had it, even the Royal Family of England cannot boast
of the Kind of Back-ground he came from. In the School of Life, The sum of the
years of his Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Education was forty. With just a year to graduate, One year to be
a certified Living purpose, one faithful day, He went out, posing like a
graduate of his area of Discipline. The Principal got wind of this and sanctioned
him. He had to start school from Kindergarten, spending FORTY YEARS AGAIN. At
age 80, he graduated and began to fulfill his destiny as President of God’s Own
Country, Israel.
The first time I read his Biography, I wondered, why
did he have to take 80 years before he could become successful? And my Senior
Counsel of Destiny answered that “The
Deeper the Preparation of Destiny, the Higher the Manifestation” “the strength
of Na Iroko does not lie in it tallness but in it deep rootedness!’
The WORD for you as you begin
this Academic race is TARRY. Tarry in Hebrew is châkâh pronounced khaw-kaw. It means “ properly to adhere to; hence to await: -
long, tarry, wait.”

ACADEMICALLY: The first week of your arrival, should be spent drawing out a Personal Time-Table, according to your
registered courses, giving more hours to courses you know you relented in.
PLEASE! Include special electives as they will you make studying and reading a
habit for you. Get extra books to serve as your personal reading note, where
you jot down Key points. *For lectures, If you are using new Notes, Get them
wrapped and well stapled, and if you’re continuing last semester notes which is
advised, Put them in perfect conditions, to last till the end of semester. *Start
running around for past questions and get down to them and solve them in your
lecture note.
WARNING: EXAMINATIONS are
AROUND THE CORNER! So help me God!
TARRY EMOTIONALLY: These concerns ladies as they
are emotional beings and largely guys, because our logical calendar is mostly
interrupted by Aluta of Ladies affair. Beware
of friends I term BP Boosters,
liabilities in the economy of your life. Reach out for the GP Boosters, friendship with such people is like standing on giants
shoulder. You see far, and take giant strides towards your goal.
TARRY FINANCIALLY: hmm! “Ose Igberaga”, Week of
Pride! So we are, don’t SPEND unless you have a BUDGET. Plan your Money
starting from TITHE, then Buy Necessaries
not luxuries. Fight the temptation
to keep much cash at hand and think twice before buying. Save more than you
spend and you will live comfortable.
TARRY PHYSICALLY: Attend to your physical needs not wants. Such needs must be assets not
liabilities. Attend to your body, treat yourself and be alert to abnormal
growth in the body and abnormal feelings. Invest in fruits cos they strengthen your immune to combat little infections. Health
is wealth you always say.
TARRY
SPIRITUALLY: There are many Plans
in the heart of a man but it is the Lord’s will that prevails. You can’t take
time to Fast for a successful semester, invest your time in Prayers, read
books, fellowship with loaded friends and talk less, it saves you more. I tell
you…“But they that wait upon the LORD
shall renew their
strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be
weary; and they
shall walk, and not faint.”

A
Phone Call to my G.P
Beholding
the scripts in my hands, the mathematician in me awakes to factorise both
marks, Bodmasing them into common
fraction of G.P. As a consequence of
this conduct I was giving a call to my G.P, but boldly written in Red, the
reply was “The G.P you are calling is not available at the moment, please try
again later”. Undeterred, I persisted in calling until it became “Sorry the G.P you are calling is currently
switched off, please try again later.” The stubborn man in me will not
rest, until it soon became “Please you do
not have sufficient balance to make this call, please recharge as soon as possible”
While
musing on my fortune in disguise, I remember these great words that “Failure is not falling but failure to rise
after falling” Another tear rubber breezes across my mind powerfully “The process of education does not make you
the man of your dream instead it is the product of it that turns the dream of
your man into reality” I resolve that Okay! No probs, I will continue and persistently keep TRYING.
But does
it all seem about me? Is this not a papered history of my meditations? Why are
you still reading this piece if I may Ask? Do we share a similar fate? Are we currently in the same shoe of
experience? Did your phone calls to GP go through or the line went dead? Whatever
your answer is, you are not incorrect, this is for you, I have taken enough of
my dose.
I put
myself in the shoes of many, who are preparing a stronghold of academic
excellence towards this forthcoming examination, SUDDENLY, the test script of
Project or term paper came along and it seems pe ko jo. It seems that you can’t do it again, you can’t go
further, it looks like your dream for this exam is tale of a broken pitcher.
NO! It is not, it’s never over until it is over, the Kick Off and Play of a
Football match does not determine the score board at the end of Full time. That
result you saw cannot dictate your vision of Examination result except with
your permission, because no one can make you inferior without your authority.
FACT!
That you had and scored that marks but such marks you have not scored in this
forthcoming examination so why throw in the towel while you are still in the
shower?
By the
way, what is this concept of Phone call to GP all about?.If you evaluate your
academic performance so far by your test scripts and exam result of last
semester, with the academic performance of your dream, and you are yet to get
to the wonderland of your GP, then you simply had put a phone call to GP but the
call did not go through. Did you evaluate your present Academic condition on
the scale of that part-1 GP dream of yours and you found it wanting a great
deal, then you simply had put a call to GP, but it was switched off. But those who are yet to have a GP dat base like the part one students and
of you are one, and you are already calculating your GP, then you simply had
put a phone call to GP, but you had insufficient balance.

says “Motivation is not enough. If you have and Idiot and you motivated him,
you have a motivated idiot”. Its not enough to read this piece to this stage
and be motivated that you hold on to those radical academic decision or
resolution you made in effect of this forthcoming examinations., it is not
enough that you get ispired to keep feeding that vision of examination result
of your with faith despite the test result, though they count but something
better that count is still alive and that is YOU!

You must take a step NOW! Martin Luther King says Take a step in faith even of
your don’t see the while staircase. YES!
Take a step in actualising that vies of your, take a step to bring to
bring that resolution of your into reality. Take a step of stepping up your
reading hours and stepping down your chatting minutes, take a step in eating
good food and fruits and desisting for eating junks, tale a step to start
reading 6 hours a day, take a step of drawing a reading time table, take a step
to source around for friends that inspire you to read and expire you form
wasting precious seconds, take a step of being flexible i.e being able to read
any where you find yourselves, Take a step on your relationship with God,
because he said, it is not by might, nor by power but by my spirit, Take a step
in getting that spirit and Daniel say But they who do know their God shall be
strong and do great exploit. Whatever it has been, whatever it is and whatever it is
looking like it is going to be, take a step towards that academic decision(Have
you even made one) or that Examination result Vision( Do you even have one)

and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.
Start WORK NOW!
Yes! Start planning to be what you expect your
tomorrow to be, start doing what you want your result to be showing, being
action on what you have planned, and begin plan of better actions. To get what
you haven’t gotten, you must do what you haven’t done. Because as Anthony
Robbins says “the path to success s to take massive determined actions” Let
your FAITH, match your VISION and let both walk with your ACTIONS on the Hope
of PASSION to keep the fire burning until the flag is down.
It is
EXAMINATION, yes! Listen it is EXAMINATION, o boy! It is EXAMINATION; you can’t
afford to disappoint yourself again. It is another time to right those wrong
decisions you took last semester exam and better your god actions. Don’t let
anything Free disturb your vision. When you are holding a Lecture free week at
home ot in your room, someone is holding a lecture fire week. Will your result
better that person?
Wait a
Minute! As you approach Examinations, who told you, you can’t top your class?
Who informed you that your performance can be better than your best in your secondary
school? Who wrote to you that the iwes
are specially made persons? I tell you, you are what you make of yourself and
what you have is what you carve for yourself. If you don’t get up and study out
your way to the top this examination, which will? Someone’s will but not as good as if you were the one.
So! YOU ARE THE BESTMAN OFR THE JOB OF MAKING THIS EXAMINATION THE BEST A
